Can a roof top tent fix to any car?

Accepted Answer

Yes, pretty much any car. You will need a cross bar roof rack which you can purchase from many leisure outlets, we would recommend making sure that the roof bars you purchase are suitable for the weight of the roof tent.

What sort of roof rack do I need?

As mentioned before, you will need cross bar roof rack that can take the weight of the roof tent and its occupants (most branded roof bars will be suitable).

Can I install it myself?

The roof tents are relatively easy to install, all parts are provided. We do however recommend calling a buddy or partner to help. It will require a two person lift onto the car and help to secure the tent.

How is my tent delivered?

For local delivery we will deliver personally, you may wish to opt for our assisted installation package which will make it easy to get your tent fixed to your car. Our expert will show you how to set up your tent too which is a double bonus, as I know he just can't resist showing you all the best hints and tips of easy set up and getting the best out of your roof tent. For UK-wide deliveries, we have partnered with specialist couriers that will deliver your new roof tent to perfection. How heavy is my roof top tent?

Accepted Answer

Although the tents are designed to be as light as possible, they are built tough and so there is some weight in them, this ranges from 65Kg — 85Kg. We recommend using Cross bar Roof racks designed to carry a minimum of 100Kg. Also ensure the roof racks have been installed to the manufacturers instructions.
